Description
As the night falls over February in Tucson, Arizona, the crowd gathers to watch racers ride down the rock drop, wrapping up a lap of the 24 Hours of Old Pueblo mountain bike race. Six hours into the race, riders wear lights strapped to their gear to illuminate the path ahead. The cold, dark desert night is filled with anticipation as racers navigate the singletrack lined with rocks, sand, and cactus. Spectators eagerly await the arrival of loved ones and teammates as the race enters its seventh hour of the 24-hour endurance challenge.
